7-4-11: RESTRICTIONS ON DRIVING:
   A.   Stop When Traffic Obstructed: No driver shall enter an intersection or a marked crosswalk unless there is sufficient space on the other side of the intersection or crosswalk to accommodate the vehicle he or she is operating without obstructing the passage of other vehicles or pedestrians, notwithstanding any traffic control signal indication to proceed. (2002 Code § 10.08.390)
   B.   Obstructing Streets, Highways And Alleys: It is unlawful and an offense for any person to place or leave any vehicle of any kind upon the public highway, street or alley within the corporate limits of the city so as to hinder or obstruct the free use of such highway, street, alley or thoroughfare; provided, that nothing herein contained shall prevent the proper use of any vehicle upon or along the public highways, streets or alleys of the city as provided by city ordinance. (2002 Code § 10.08.460)
   C.   Following Too Closely: The driver of a motor vehicle shall not follow another vehicle more closely than is reasonable and prudent, having due regard for the speed of such vehicles and the traffic upon and the condition of the street or highway. (2002 Code § 10.08.140)
   D.   Driving On Sidewalks: The driver of a vehicle shall not drive upon a sidewalk or within any sidewalk area except at a permanent or temporary driveway. (2002 Code § 10.08.470)
   E.   Backing Vehicles: The driver of a vehicle shall not back the same unless such movement can be made with reasonable safety and without interfering with other traffic. (2002 Code § 10.08.490)
   F.   Entering Or Leaving Controlled Access Roadways: No person shall drive a vehicle onto or from any controlled access roadway except at such entrances and exits as are established by public authority. (2002 Code § 10.08.510)
   G.   Driving Through Safety Zone Prohibited: No vehicle shall at any time be driven through or within a safety zone. (2002 Code § 10.08.520; amd. 2013 Code)
