A. License Required: It is unlawful for any person who does not have a driver's license as required by state law for operation of a motor vehicle upon the state highways to operate a motor vehicle within the city. (2002 Code § 10.08.190)
B. Allowing Persons To Drive Without License Prohibited: It is unlawful for any person to authorize or knowingly permit a motor vehicle owned by him or her or under his or her control to be driven upon any street or highway in the city by any person who is not authorized or licensed to drive a motor vehicle under the laws of the state of Oklahoma or under the laws of the state of the driver's residence. C. Driving Under Suspension, Cancellation, Revocation Or Denial Prohibited: An individual convicted of the offense of driving under suspension, cancellation, revocation or denial shall, upon conviction, be guilty of an offense punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code and as set forth in the municipal bond schedule adopted by the governing body as provided in section 1-11-19 of this code, such penalties escalating in severity for each subsequent offense.
