The term of office for the two (2) city council members shall be consistent with the term of office for the city council member. Termination or resignation of a city council member shall also terminate membership on the agency board. In the event that a city council member resigns from the agency board but continues to hold office, a successor commissioner shall be appointed by the mayor to hold the position for the remainder of the member's term. For members that do not hold the office of city council member, the term of office shall be four (4) years. All vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired term. The initial term of all commissioners shall be staggered so that the initial term of office of no more than two (2) commissioners expires in the same year. (Ord. 12-547, 5-8-2012)
