Any person desiring to divide land into five (5) or more lots, parcels, tracts or sites for the purpose of immediate sale or lease shall submit all necessary applications to the city clerk on forms as provided by the city. No final plat shall be filed with the county recorder or improvements made on the property until the plat has been acted upon by the commission and the council. No lots shall be sold until the plat has been recorded in the office of the county recorder. (Ord. 434, 6-11-1997; amd. Ord. 534, 7-8-2008)
