Anyone convicted of violating the city building codes shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to penalty as set forth in section 1-4-1 of this code. Each day of violation may be considered a separate offense under the city building codes and the fine and/or imprisonment set forth herein may be imposed for each such offense.
