If there is a general danger of freezing of the water department mains or of customer's service lines, the water department may inform its customers that the water may be run to prevent freezing at no additional cost. The water then will be billed only for the amount based on average use rather than actual amounts determined by meter readings until the danger of freezing has passed. (Ord. 03-2001, 3-20-2001)
