10-3-11: SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS:
   A.   Reasonable Effort To Avoid: The water department shall make reasonable effort to avoid interruptions of service and, when interruptions occur, shall reestablish service with reasonable diligence.
   B.   Liability: The water department shall not be liable to the customer or others for failure or interruption of water service due to acts of God, governmental regulations, court or commissioner orders, acts of a public enemy, strikes or labor difficulties, accidents, weather conditions, acts of third parties, droughts, or, without limitation by the foregoing, any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the water department.
   C.   Notice Of Interruption: Wherever possible, the water department shall give individual notice of service interruption; however, general advice by newspaper in the affected area or radio or television announcement shall meet the notice requirement. (Ord. 03-2001, 3-20-2001)
