The premises to be charged for sewer services shall include each premises connected to the system or abutting on a street, alley or other public place in which a municipal sewer main is situated. Every dwelling place occupied by more than two (2) families and having not more than one connection to the sewer system together with the lot or parcel of land on which it stands and any auxiliary building or buildings on such lot or parcel, shall be deemed a single premises to which service is made available. For any premises having more than one connection or occupied as a dwelling place by more than two (2) families, the minimum monthly charge shall be multiplied, as the case may be, by the number of such connections or by one-half (1/2) the number of families occupying the same.
