A. Hearing Scheduled: The resolution referred to in the preceding section shall fix the time and place at which the city council will hear and consider objections to such assessment or apportionment.
B. Publication Of Notice: Notice of the time and place of the meeting of the city council for the purpose of hearing objections to such resolution making the assessment for the purpose of paying such construction, repair or removal of such curb or obstructions as provided for in this chapter shall be given by the administrative clerk by one publication in a newspaper, which notice shall be published at least five (5) days preceding the date upon which the city council will hear and consider such objections.
C. Hearing: At the meeting referred to in this section the parties interested may appear in person or by their agents or attorneys. The city council shall consider all objections that may be made to the assessment or apportionment and shall make such provisions, amendments and changes therein as shall seem to them right and equitable and may adjourn from time to time until all objections shall have been considered. When such resolution shall have been finally amended and adopted, the city council shall levy such special tax as therein assessed and apportioned. (Ord. 01-2001, 3-20-2001; amd. 2004 Code)
