8-1-10: PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO RECORD COSTS:
Whenever any curb or sidewalk shall have been constructed, repaired or removed, or any obstruction removed therefrom by the city as provided by this chapter, the director of public works shall keep an account of all costs or expenses incurred in his office in connection with any work under any such order or notice, which shall include the costs of preparation of plats, plans, specifications, maps, engineering, superintendence and inspection and preparation of any assessment rolls, and cost of the work performed, and the director of public works shall certify all such costs to the administrative clerk, whose duty it shall be to prepare all necessary schedules and resolutions levying any taxes or assessments against the property abutting any curb or sidewalk which has been constructed, repaired or removed, or obstruction removed therefrom.
