No person, firm or corporation shall store any fireworks meant for public sale anywhere within the city limits except as necessary for the performance of a public exhibition to be held pursuant to a permit issued as hereinafter provided. Such storage shall be in a safe place, securely locked or guarded so that no unauthorized person shall have access thereto, and protected from fire hazards. The fire chief shall inspect the storage to determine whether the same complies with the terms of this section. (Ord. 80-85, 5-18-1998; amd. 2004 Code)
