7-1-4: COMPENSATION:

The salary and compensation of the fire chief, assistant fire chief and firemen shall be fixed from time to time, by resolution or motion of the city council, and such salary and compensation shall be paid monthly by warrants drawn upon the city treasury. (1983 Code § 2.24.004)
