A. Sticker Issued: The chief of police, or other designated person, upon issuing a bicycle license, will also issue a sticker bearing the license number assigned to the bicycle and the name of the city. The chief of police or other designated person shall cause such sticker to be firmly attached to the bicycle. No person shall remove such sticker except upon a transfer of ownership or in the event the bicycle is dismantled and no longer operated upon any street in the city.
B. Sale Or Other Transfer: Upon the sale or other transfer of a licensed bicycle, the licensee shall remove such sticker and either surrender the same to the chief of police or, upon proper application and with payment of the fee provided for in subsection 1-12-10B of this code, have the plate assigned to another bicycle owned by the applicant.
