6-2-6: PARKING RESTRICTED:
   A.   No person shall park any motor vehicle upon any street, roadway or thoroughfare or on and in any other public place for the principal purpose of:
      1.   Displaying such motor vehicle for sale.
      2.   Greasing or repairing such vehicle except repairs necessitated by an emergency.
      3.   Storing such motor vehicle not then in transit or actual use and service.
   B.   No person shall park any vehicle upon a street in such a manner or under such conditions as to leave available less than ten feet (10') of the width of the roadway for the free movement of vehicular traffic.
   C.   No person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle within an alley for a period of time longer than is necessary for the reasonably expeditious loading or unloading of such vehicle.
   D.   No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle within an alley in such a position as to block the driveway or entrance to any abutting property.
   E.   No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in a yellow or no parking zone.
   F.   No owner or person in charge of a motor vehicle shall park or permit to be parked on any street, avenue or alley any motor vehicle in excess of five (5) days.
   G.   No person shall move a vehicle not lawfully under his control into any prohibited area or away from a curb such distance as is unlawful.
   H.   No person shall stand or park any wheeled trailer of any size on City owned streets or boulevards from November 1, to April 1. From April 1 to October 31, wheeled trailers may be parked for a period not exceeding five (5) days consecutively on City street. From April 1 to October 31, any trailer must be moved off the City street after five (5) days. Construction related trailers may be parked for five (5) days consecutively during all months of the year. Construction related trailers must obtain a permit from the City of Glendive Building Department if they are to be parked on a City street for a period exceeding five (5) days. The permit shall allow a construction related trailer to be parked for a consecutive period of thirty (30) days on a City street for a fee of fifty dollars ($50) and must be posted on that trailer. Any wheeled trailer must not block any sidewalk or boulevard owned by the City of Glendive. (Ord. 02-2003, 5-20-2003; amd. Ord. 05-2015, 5-19-2015)
