5-2-1: OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS:

The police of the city are authorized and this chapter does authorize and empower the police to make arrests of persons charged with crimes or violations of city ordinances within the limits of the city and within five (5) miles thereof. (1983 Revised Code § 9.02.001)
