§ 55.01 ADOPTION OF STATE CODE COVERING INSTALLATION OF WIRES AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.
   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to introduce, install, or have any electric lighting, heating, or power wire, circuit or circuits, or apparatus in, on, or connected to any building, awning, structure, or addition thereof within the corporate limits of the city, unless the same shall be in conformity with the rules and regulations set forth in what is known as the state code covering installation of wires and electrical equipment as published under the direction of the Bureau of Labor of the state as the same are now established, together with any amendments and changes made from time to time. The code, together with any amendments and changes, which may be made from time to time, is hereby adopted by reference in the same manner and with same force and effect as if each and all of the provisions were herein fully set forth.
