(A) Although the exact specification of particle size range does not appear possible at this time, some definition of properly shredded garbage is required for the purpose of this chapter.
(B) It is suggested that there be three requirements:
(1) Only food wastes be considered as garbage;
(2) All shredded particles shall be of the size that they will be carried freely under the flow conditions normally prevailing in public sewers; and
(3) All shredded particles shall have no dimension greater than one-half inch.
