9-2-4: DAMAGE TO, TAMPERING WITH SYSTEM:
Any person who wilfully and maliciously cuts, injures, damages, tampers or destroys or defaces any fire hydrant, water main, or any other fixtures pertaining to and a part of the village water system, and any person who intentionally opens any fire hydrant without proper authorization shall be subject to the penalty prescribed in section 1-4-1 of this code. (1978 Code § 9-5-17; amd. 2011 Code)
