8-3-1: NAMES OF STREETS:
Street names are and shall be as they exist at the effective date hereof; provided, however, that the village president and board of trustees may, by ordinance, change the name of any existing street or may, by ordinance, designate the name of any street provided in any plat approved by ordinance. (1978 Code § 8-2-4)
