A. Location: All signs advertising any sale held pursuant to this chapter shall be located on private property and shall comply with all pertinent ordinances of the village relating to signs. No such sign or other advertising matter shall be located or posted in any public park or building in the village. (Ord. 2002-81, 10-3-2002; amd. 2011 Code)
B. Information Required: The garage sale signs must contain the following information:
1. The day of the sale;
2. The hours of the sale; and
3. The address where the sale is to take place.
C. Removal: All garage sale signs authorized under this chapter shall be removed no later than eight o'clock (8:00) P.M. on the last day of the sale. In the event all garage sale signs authorized under this chapter are not removed prior to eight o'clock (8:00) P.M. on the last day of the sale as provided in this subsection, the village shall impose a fine of twenty five dollars ($25.00) per sign for each day the sign is displayed beyond the last day of the sale on each garage sale permit applicant.
