4-3-28: SANITARY CONDITIONS:
   A.   Premises: All premises used for the retail sale of alcoholic liquor, or for the storage of such liquor for sale, shall be kept in full compliance with the ordinances regulating the condition of premises used for the storage or sale of food for human consumption. It shall be the duty of the chief of police, and he is hereby authorized, from time to time, to inspect and examine the premises of any retail liquor business for the purpose of ascertaining whether or not there is compliance with all health ordinances of the village relative to the carrying on of such business. Inspections shall be made at least once every other month during the time the licensee is engaged in business. It shall be the duty of every person licensed under the provisions of this chapter to permit such inspections to be made and to exhibit the premises to such persons making such inspections. A record of such inspections shall be kept on file in the office of the chief of police and in the office of the local liquor control commissioner. (Ord. 2007-124, 12-6-2007)
   B.   Employees: It shall be unlawful to employ in premises used for the retail sale of alcoholic liquor any person who is afflicted with or who is a carrier of any contagious or infectious disease; and it shall be unlawful for any person who is afflicted with or is a carrier of any such disease to work in or about any premises or to engage in any way in the handling, preparation or distribution of such liquor.
