4-3-14: TERM OF LICENSE; RENEWALS; PRORATED FEES:
Each license issued pursuant to this chapter, except Class A-3, G, and S licenses, shall terminate on January 31 next following its issuance, and the r renewal fee therefor shall be due and payable in full on or before January 15 of each year, unless a weekend or a holiday, then the next business day. All late renewal fees shall be assessed a one hundred dollar ($100.00) late fee and shall be paid by a certified or cashier's check. Provided, however, any new licensee applying for an annual license after August 1 of the license year shall pay an amount equal to one- half (1/2) of the annual license fee from the time the license is granted until its termination on January 31 next following its issuance. Any new licensee applying for an annual license from January 31 through July 31 of the license year shall pay the full annual license fee. No licensee shall receive any pro rata refund for any unused portion of the license, and no license shall be issued for an amount less than one-half (1/2) of the annual fee. The foregoing notwithstanding, the Liquor Commissioner of the Village may, in his or her discretion, and for good cause shown, issue a liquor license for a term of less than one (1) year and may pro rate the license fee in six (6) month increments. In the event the reduced term liquor license shall be renewed for the full year, the remaining full year license fee shall become due and owing upon the full year renewal.
