A. Established: Fees for the various classes of licenses authorized under this chapter shall be as follows:
1. Class A License:
a. The annual fee for a class A license for 2008 shall be three thousand dollars ($3,000.00).
b. The annual fee for a class A license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding.
2. Class A-F License:
a. The annual fee for a class A-F license for 2008 shall be two thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($2,250.00).
b. The annual fee for a class A-F license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding.
3. Class A-R License:
a. The annual fee for a class A-R license for 2008 shall be six thousand dollars ($6,000.00).
b. The annual fee for a class A-R license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding.
4. Class A-V License:
a. The annual fee for a class A-V license for 2008 shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00) in addition to the fee for the underlying class A, A-1, A-F, or A-R license.
b. The annual fee for a class A-V license, in addition to the fee for the underlying class A, A-1, A-F, or A-R license, shall be equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", as published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding.
5. Class A-1 License:
a. The annual fee for a class A-1 license for 2008 shall be seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) in addition to the fee for the underlying class A, A-F, A-R or A-V license.
b. The annual fee for a class A-1 license, in addition to the fee for the underlying class A, A-F, A-R or A-V license, shall increase by two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) each year.
6. Class A-H License:
a. The annual fee for an A-H license for 2008 shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00) in addition to the fee for the underlying class A, A-F, B or C license.
b. The annual fee for a class A-H license, in addition to the fee for the underlying class A, A-F, B or C license, shall be equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", as published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding.
7. Class A-3 License:
a. The daily fee for a class A-3 license for 2008 shall be twenty five dollars ($25.00).
b. The daily fee for a class A-3 license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding. 8. Class A-G License: There shall be no annual fee for a class A-G license. The class A-G license is a license issued to the Glendale Lakes Golf Course, owned, operated and managed by the village. (Ord. 2010-72, 12-9-2010)
9. Class B License:
a. The annual fee for a class B license for 2008 shall be three thousand two hundred dollars ($3,200.00).
b. The annual fee for a class B license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding.
10. Class C License:
a. The annual fee for a class C license for 2008 shall be one thousand nine hundred seventy five dollars ($1,975.00).
b. The annual fee for a class C license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding.
11. Class C-1 License:
a. The annual fee for a class C-1 license for 2008 shall be one thousand nine hundred seventy five dollars ($1,975.00).
b. The annual fee for a class C-1 license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding.
12. Class D License:
a. The annual fee for a class D license for 2008 shall be two thousand seven hundred fifty dollars ($2,750.00).
b. The annual fee for a class D license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding.
13. Class E License:
a. The annual fee for a class E license for 2008 shall be one thousand six hundred dollars ($1,600.00).
b. The annual fee for a class E license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding.
14. Class E-1 License:
a. The annual fee for a class E-1 license for 2008 shall be one thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($1,250.00).
b. The annual fee for a class E-1 license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding.
15. Class E-2 License:
a. The annual fee for a class E-2 license for 2008 shall be one thousand nine hundred dollars ($1,900.00).
b. The annual fee for a class E-2 license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding.
16. Class F License: The annual fee for a class F license shall be six hundred dollars ($600.00).
17. Class G License: The daily fee for a class G license shall be fifty dollars ($50.00).
18. Class S License: The annual fee for a class S license shall be fifty dollars ($50.00).
19. Class M License:
a. The annual fee for a class M license for 2008 shall be two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00).
b. The annual fee for a class M license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the federal government, for the year immediately preceding. 20. Class M-1 License:
a. The annual license fee for a Class M-1 license for 2011 shall be one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00).
b. The annual fee for a Class M-1 license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the Federal government, for the year immediately preceding. 21. Class N License:
a. The annual fee for a Class N license for 2008 shall be two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) in addition to the fee for the underlying Class A, A-F, A-R, B or C license for both Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve. The fee for only one of these days shall be one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) in addition to the fee for the underlying Class A, A-F, A-R, B or C license.
b. The annual fee for a Class N license, in addition to the fee for the underlying Class A, A-F, A-R, B or C license for both Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve, shall be equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", as published by the Federal government, for the year immediately preceding. The same applies for the fee for only one of these days in addition to the fee for the underlying Class A, A-F, A-R, B or C license. (Ord. 2007-124, 12-6-2007; amd. 2011 Code)
22. Class F-S License:
a. The annual fee for a Class F-S license for 2016 shall be seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00).
b. The annual fee for a Class F-S license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the "Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers", published by the Federal government, for the year immediately preceding. (Ord. 2016-62, 11-3-2016)
23. Class C-2 License:
a. The annual fee for a Class-2 license shall be Five Hundred Dollars and 00/100ths ($500.00).
b. The annual fee for a Class C-2 license shall be increased in January of each year by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase in the “Consumer Price Index - Urban Consumers”, published by the federal government for the year immediately preceding.
B. Additional Bar Fees:
1. Establishments with a Class A, A-V, A-1, A-F, A-R, B or C license are required to pay a fee for each additional bar, service station, outlet, portable drink cart, or any other additional alcohol servicing station maintained under the same roof at one such address.
2. The annual fee shall be one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00) per outlet in addition to the fee for the underlying Class A, A-V, A-1, A-F, A-R, B or C license. (Ord. 2007-124, 12-6-2007; amd. 2011 Code)
3. This fee is not applicable to establishments that have only one single bar, service station, or drink cart.
C. Payment Of License Fee; Additional Fees:
1. At the time application is made to the Local Liquor Control Commissioner for the issuance of a license of any class, the applicant shall pay the Village the fee hereinabove provided for the class of license for which the application is filed. In addition to the license fee, the applicant shall, at the time application is made, pay to the Village a nonrefundable five hundred dollar ($500.00) license application/processing fee. The application/processing charge shall not apply to Class F and G licenses.
2. In addition to the fees provided in subsections A and C1 of this section, the applicant shall pay to the Village the fees charged to the Village by the Illinois State Police for fingerprint cards and the investigation thereof. Such fees shall not be refundable to the applicant in any event.
D. No Refunds For Revoked Licenses: Whenever any license hereunder has been revoked as provided in this chapter, the licensee shall incur a forfeiture of all monies that have been paid for said license.

| 1 | 1. Ordinance 2020-80, passed 12-10-2020, temporarily amends the renewal fees contained in this section for the 2021 renewal year. The fifty percent (50%) reduction applies to classes A, A-F, A-V, A-H, B, C, C-1, F and F-S, and is only for the 2021 liquor license renewals. This amendment only applies to renewals, and renewals in 2022 will return to the rates prescribed in this section. |
