§ 95.18 SIDEWALKS TO BE KEPT CLEAN; NOTICE.
   (A)   The owner, occupant, or any person having the care of any building or lot of land bordering on any street, square, or public place within the village, where there is a sidewalk graded and paved, shall, within 24 hours after receiving notice from a village police officer to that effect, cause the removal from the paved portion of the sidewalk upon which the building or lot borders, of the accumulation of leaves, dirt, or other substance that may be dangerous to pedestrians, or a hindrance to the proper use of the paved portion of sidewalk.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of any police officer of the village to notify any owner or owners, occupant or occupants, or other person above designated, to cause the removal provided for in this section.
