(A) No person shall park or permit to stand any motor vehicle or otherwise block the following, which are designated as fire-lane streets:

(B) On all residential streets which have been designated as requiring fire lanes on both sides of the street, a special parking permit may be obtained from the village to allow short-term parking on one side of the street by making written application at least 24 hours prior to the need for such permit, and providing that both the Fire Department and Police Department have no objections to the issuance of the permit.
