§ 71.01 FALSE STATEMENTS.
   (A)   Prohibition against false statements. No person shall knowingly make a false statement to any matter or thing required by the provisions of this traffic code.
   (B)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
