§ 34.02 SPECIAL LEAVE WITH PAY.
   (A)   (1)   A village employee who is required to serve on a jury, or has been subpoenaed in any court of record in the county, or contiguous counties or has been subpoenaed in any court of record in the United States, shall be paid his regular salary for the period of time so served.
      (2)   To receive compensation, the employee must present a copy of their subpoena to their respective department head.
   (B)   Village employees shall be granted time off with pay for taking any required examination pertinent to their village employment before a state or federal licensing board.
