§ 32.38 COMPENSATION FOR ASSISTANCE IN AN EMERGENCY.
   (A)   Any person, who in response to a request by the Chief of Police or other member of the Police Department, assists in an emergency involving the saving of life or protection, care, or assistance to any sick or injured person who may be paid compensatory in an amount to be determined by the Village Council.
   (B)   The Chief of Police shall certify the name of each person entitled to compensation hereunder for each emergency, together with the number of hours of service and total amount of compensation which each person may be entitled.
