§ 31.31 SALARIES.
   (A)   Mayor. The salary of the Mayor shall be established by Council, payable quarterly out of the general fund.
   (B)   Clerk/Treasurer. The salary of the Clerk/Treasurer shall be established by the Village Council, payable quarterly out of the general fund.
   (C)   Village Administrator. The salary of the Village Administrator shall be as established by Council, from time to time, payable out of the general fund.
   (D)   Water/Waste Water Superintendent. The salary of the Water/Waste Water Superintendent shall be established by Council, from time to time, and will be paid 25% from the Water Enterprise Fund and 75% from the Sewage Enterprise Fund.
   (E)   Police Chief. The salary of the Police Chief shall be in the amount fixed from time to time, by the Council, payable out of the general fund.
   (F)   Solicitor. The salary of the Solicitor shall be as established by Council, payable quarterly out of the general fund. In addition to this salary the Solicitor shall receive an extra compensation for extraordinary or unusual service as Council may determine.
   (G)   Service Superintendent. The salary of the Service Superintendent shall be in the amount fixed, from time to time, by the Council, payable out of the general fund. However, in addition to a salary, the Service Superintendent, shall be paid for extraordinary services which he may render, and as deemed proper by Council.
   (H)   Firefighters. The Chief and each volunteer firefighters shall be paid in amounts for their various services as Council, from time to time, shall establish, payable out of the general fund. The Chief of the Fire Department shall certify the name of each person entitled to compensation hereunder for each fire or other emergency or practice session attended, together with the number of hours of service and total amount of compensation to which each may be entitled.
   (I)   Hourly Employees.
      (1)   All hourly employees will be paid according to their respective job classification and seniority. The rate for each classification will be established, from time to time, by the Council and payable from the general fund.
      (2)   Hourly employees assigned to the Utility Department will be paid from the Enterprise Account by the following ratio: 25% Water Fund and 75% Sewage Fund.
