The following charges shall be paid to the Village for the purchase of a single grave or burial space, or for Village services performed at a municipal cemetery:
A. Single grave or burial space:
1. Person owning real estate within corporate limits or having resided within the corporate limits for a period of two (2) years preceding said person's date of death: in an amount as shown on the Schedule of Fees found in Section 1-16-1 of the Village Code.
2. Non-residents of the Village: in an amount as shown on the Schedule of Fees found in Section 1-16-1 of the Village Code.
B. Opening graves for bodies of persons, refill and tamping of graves: in an amount as shown on the Schedule of Fees found in Section 1-16-1 of the Village Code.
C. Disinterring a body but not including the charges of a licensed embalmer: in an amount as shown on the Schedule of Fees found in Section 1-16-1 of the Village Code.
D. Grave opening for cremation: in an amount as shown on the Schedule of Fees found in Section 1-16-1 of the Village Code (limit of 2 per grave lot). (Ord. 2008-2, 1-22-2008; amd. Ord. 2021-23, 7-27-2021)
