7-3-5: GENERAL BICYCLE USE REGULATIONS:
   A.   Speed: No person shall operate a bicycle at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent for the conditions then existing, including, but not limited to, those posed by weather, intersecting pathways, and other bike trail users.
   B.   Single File: Persons operating bicycles upon a roadway, bicycle path or other public way shall drive in a single file except where such is designed and marked for more than single file operation.
   C.   Emerging From Driveway Or Public Way: No person operating a bicycle shall emerge from any driveway, alley, or public way without yielding the right of way to all motor vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians approaching upon the roadway, sidewalk, bike path or other public way.
   D.   Towing Other Devices: No person operating a bicycle shall tow or draw any device, including another bicycle, unless said device is specifically manufactured for attachment to a bicycle.
   E.   Riding On Bicycles:
      1.   A person propelling a bicycle shall only ride upon or astride a permanent seat attached thereto.
      2.   No bicycle shall be used to carry more persons than the number for which it is designed or equipped.
   F.   Operating In A Dangerous Manner: No person shall operate a bicycle in any manner that endangers others on the public way.
   G.   Condition Of Bicycle: A bicycle shall only be operated when it is in mechanically safe working order.
   H.   Walking Of Bicycles Determined Pedestrians: Persons walking a bicycle have the rights of and are subject to the duties of a pedestrian. (Ord. 91-65, 11-12-1991)
