A. Scope Of Chapter: This chapter shall apply to all public ways and areas which are encompassed by the heritage bike trail outlined in the designated section and map attached to ordinance 91-65 which is on file in the office of the village clerk. Any subsequently acquired public areas contiguous to the trail park will be automatically encompassed under this chapter until such time as they are formally dedicated or excluded.
B. Application Of Traffic Laws: Every person driving a bicycle or acting as a pedestrian upon a public way incorporated under this chapter shall be granted all the rights and privileges and shall be subject to all of the duties and responsibilities applicable under the state traffic regulations, except as to special regulations to the contrary in this chapter, or those provisions which by their nature can have no application.
C. Application Of Other Laws: Every person using the bike trail and trail park areas shall be subject to all other applicable state laws and village ordinances, except those which by their very nature can have no application. (Ord. 91-65, 11-12-1991)
