7-1-1: SNOW ROUTES:
   A.   Routes Designated; Parking Prohibitions: It shall be unlawful for the owner or operator of any vehicle to park said vehicle on any street or parts of streets hereinafter designated for a period of time that average accumulations of snow and ice on the ground exceed two inches (2") in depth: (Ord. 78-28, 1-2-1979)

   B.   Parking On Private Property Adjacent To Snow Routes: It shall be unlawful, without the consent of the owner of the property, to park any motor vehicle on any private property adjacent to the streets described in subsection A of this section and at any time parking is prohibited thereon pursuant to the terms of this section.
   C.   Signs Posted: The public works director or other person authorized by the president and board of trustees shall cause signs to be posted in all areas where parking is prohibited under the terms of this section, indicating such limitations or prohibitions; said signs to bear the words "SNOW ROUTE".
   D.   Enforcement: The police department, and all members thereof assigned to traffic "snow route" duty, are hereby authorized to remove and tow away, or have removed and towed away by any commercial towing service, any vehicles illegally parked in any street designated in subsection A of this section at any time the terms of this section shall be applicable. Vehicles so towed away for illegal parking shall be stored in a safe place and shall be restored to the owner or operator of such vehicle upon payment of any reasonable fees charged by the towing service.
