The Glen Carbon police department will keep and utilize a towing list for occasions when the vehicle owner does not have a preference of towing companies and select a towing company from that list on a rotating basis. The list will be comprised of those automobile towing businesses located within or near the corporate limits of the Village of Glen Carbon and found by the police chief or his assignee to be dependable in response to calls within Glen Carbon.
