The President shall make the appointments for all appointed positions, including committees and commissions, which do not receive compensation and are provided by ordinance, State law, or determined by the President with the advice and consent of the Village Board of Trustees. Those appointments shall be made with the advice and consent of the Village Board of Trustees, and said appointments shall run until the new appointments are made.
Although the appointments should be made at the first regular meeting of the Village in the month of May as said terms expire, when said positions are first created, or as soon thereafter as practical for all appointed officers for the Village, the appointments may be made at any regular meeting of the Village Board in the months of May or June if circumstances warrant. Vacancies should be filled as soon as practical. Said appointed officers, committees and commissions are as follows:
Alliance Board.
Board of Zoning Appeals.
Cable Commission.
Gardening Landscaping Enhancing Nature Committee.
Historical and Museum Commission.
Planning and Zoning Commission.
Police Commission.
Police, Health and Safety Committee.
Police Pension Fund Board of Trustees.
