1-5-1: VILLAGE SEAL:
A seal, in a circular form, with the words "Village of Glen Carbon, Illinois" in the outer circle and the word "Seal" in the interior of the circle is hereby adopted and declared to be the seal of the village, to be kept and used in all cases when required by the law and customs of nations, the constitution and laws of the state, and of the several states, the ordinances of the village, and in all cases in which it is or may be necessary to use a seal by a corporation. The seal shall be and remain in the custody of the village clerk unless otherwise directed by the village board. (1941 Code ch. I, § 94)
