§ 150.53 SERVICE LINES.
   (A)   The service line from the gas main to the property shall be installed by the gas company without charge to the customer.
   (B)   The service line and yard line on consumer’s property shall be installed in connection with the housepiping at the consumer’s expense by the gas fitter or plumber selected by the consumer.
   (C)   Instructions as to locations and size of tap or company service line and meter size and location shall be secured by the gas company at time of installation, and before starting the work.
   (D)   All service lines shall be one and one-fourth inches unless otherwise specified and must be new pipe, well painted with good grade of pipe paint.
   (E)   (1)   No tees or unions shall be permitted in service line ahead of meter.
      (2)   Line shall not be covered up until the same has been tested, inspected and approved by the Inspector, line shall be buried, after inspection, a minimum depth of 12 inches.
   (F)   Service lines are not to be installed in same ditch with water or sewer lines, except with a minimum clearance of 12 inches and the gas line is to be above rather than beside or below the other lines.
