(A) The Building and Electrical Department/Building Inspector’s, shall be designated as the local enforcement agent/agency for the Kentucky Building Code. All Building Code inspections shall be performed by persons certified by the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction. All electrical inspections shall be performed by persons certified by the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction as an electrical inspector.
(B) The Fire Chief is charged with enforcement of the provisions of the state’s Standards of Safety.
(C) The state’s Plumbing Inspector and county’s Board of Health are charged with the enforcement of the provisions of the state’s Plumbing Code.
