§ 31.41 BEAUTIFICATION ADMINISTRATOR.
   (A)   Creation. The position of Beautification Administrator is hereby created.
   (B)   Appointment.
      (1)   The Beautification Administrator shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the approval of the City Council.
      (2)   The Beautification Administrator shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor, but shall be required to be reappointed for terms coterminous with those of the City Council.
      (3)   The Beautification Administrator shall be supervised by the Building Inspector.
   (C)   Compensation. The Beautification Administrator shall receive no compensation for his or her services. He or she may, however, be reimbursed for any out of pocket expenses incurred in the performance of his or her duties.
   (D)   Duties and powers. The Beautification Administrator shall have the following duties and powers:
      (1)   To take all necessary steps required on behalf of the city by any of the ordinances of the city relating to the mowing of property, the cleaning of property, littering or the maintenance of property; and (The duties and authority described by this section specifically includes the giving of all notices required by any ordinances relating to the condition or maintenance of property and the appearance on behalf of the city in any judicial proceedings relating to same.)
      (2)   To perform such other duties as the Mayor shall from time to time designate.
