(A) The Building Inspector shall annually inspect every outdoor advertising sign to determine compliance with law.
(B) The Inspector shall send a notice of violation to the holder of the annual outdoor advertising sign permit or, if no annual permit has been issued with respect to a sign, to the owner of the real property on which the sign is located of any outdoor advertising sign found not to comply and shall post a copy of the notice on the sign or its supporting structure which will require either compliance or removal pursuant to § 111.23.
