§ 11.04 ANNEXATION PROCEDURE; GRID SYSTEM.
   (A)   The future city limits shall incorporate the use of a township grid section, and shall be specified as the Glasgow Quadrangle, which shall extend from the intersection of Race and Washington Streets three miles north 72 degrees, 30 minutes east, and each line shall be the dividing line between the north portion and the south portion of the Glasgow Quadrangle. Hence, from the same intersection points as specified above a grid line shall extend and run south 17 degrees, 30 minutes west, for three miles and north 17 degrees, 30 minutes east, for three miles, which line shall be the dividing line between the east and west portion of the Glasgow Quadrangle.
   (B)   The quadrangle shall be divided into 36 square miles of 240 acres per section. Numbering of sections shall commence in the extreme northeast corner of the quadrangle and be numbered for each square mile toward the west corner of the quadrangle; numbering shall be consecutive.
   (C)   Each section shall be composed of four equal parts of one-half miles each and shall be designated as quarter sections. The quarter sections shall be designated as northeast quarter section, northwest quarter section, southwest quarter section and the southeast quarter section.
   (D)   Each quarter section shall be composed of four equal parts or one-quarter square miles each and shall be designated as “quarter-section” districts. Numbering of quarter-section districts shall commence in the northeast portion of a section and extended toward the west; a total of 16 quarter- section districts shall equal to a section.
   (E)   The proposed incorporated limits for the city shall be governed by the above as described with all future attachments to the city limits being not less than one-fourth of a quarter-section district.
