The following described flag shall become the official flag of the city: A white background with royal blue Old English letters spelling out “City of Glasgow” in semi-circular arrangement across top of flag and royal blue Old English letters spelling out “Kentucky” in line arrangement across bottom of flag, a royal blue circle in the center overcast with a white triangle with a gold harp at the right point of the triangle, a gold cross at the top of the triangle and a caduceus at the left point of the triangle, and with gold figure numbering “1799" below the base of the triangle, the entire flag bordered with gold bullion fringe.
