(A) There is hereby established the Cemetery Advisory Board that shall consist of five members who shall be residents of the city and have demonstrated an interest in cemetery preservation. Members shall be appointed by the Mayor and City Council to advise and assist with the operation and preservation of any and all cemeteries under the control of the city.
(B) Members of the Board shall serve without compensation. Of the five members, one shall be a representative from the City Council; one shall be the Chairperson of the Cemetery Committee of the Glasgow Garden Club. The Cemetery Sexton shall serve as an ex officio member of the Board. The three remaining members shall be from the community at large.
