Any area annexed to the village after the effective date of this chapter shall automatically be placed in the R-1 Single-Family Residence District, and shall remain in such district until the appropriate zoning district(s), zoning district boundaries and regulations are studied and recommended by the Planning Committee and adopted by the Village Board in accordance with the requirements of §§ 157.110 through 157.116; except that such adoption be completed within 60 days of the annexation.
