§ 38.18 COOPERATIVE PROCUREMENT.
   (A)   Pursuant to this section, the Town Council hereby approves and authorizes the Town Manager to enter into cooperative purchasing agreements deemed by the Town Manager to be in the best interest of the town. The Town Council reserves the right to revoke its approval for an individual agreement.
   (B)   The Town Manager on behalf of the town may participate in, sponsor, conduct, or administer a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of any materials, services, or construction with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered into between the participants. The Town Manager will make a written recommendation that such an agreement is allowable by statute and/or town code and in the best interest of the town.
