(A) Every person conducting a garage or yard sale in the town shall first obtain a permit from the town office prior to the sale. Each permit may be issued for a single weekend or for an entire year of sales, as provided for hereinafter.
(B) Any individual shall only be allowed to conduct no more than six such sales in a calendar year.
(C) Each garage or yard sale shall commence no earlier than 6:00 a.m. on Friday morning, and end no later than 8:00 p.m. on the Sunday evening of each weekend.
(D) Every person obtaining a permit to conduct a garage or yard sale shall properly clean up the site of the sale by the following Monday at 6:00 p.m. by removing all items for sale from public view or display, and returning the property to its normal appearance prior to any sale.
(E) GARAGE OR YARD SALES shall be defined as the casual sale of household goods or items of personal property by publicly displaying them in the yard or on the real property or residence applied for in the permit and pursuant to the provisions and any restrictions as hereinbefore set forth.
