§ 90.06 MANNER OF EXCAVATING.
   (A)   It is unlawful to make any excavation or tunnel in any way that is contrary to or at variance with the terms of the permit therefor. Proper bracing shall be maintained to prevent collapse of adjoining ground, and in excavations the excavation shall not have anywhere below the surface any portion which extends beyond the opening at the surface.
   (B)   All work shall be accomplished in a workman-like manner.
   (C)   The work shall be expedited so that thoroughfares shall not be closed to traffic for an undue length of time. No excavation shall be started on any date which will result in a thoroughfare being blocked to through traffic over any holiday or weekend.
