(A) It is unlawful for any person to park a vehicle or to permit a vehicle to remain stationary on any street or highway within the limits of the town, or on any other property owned or controlled by the town, for a period in excess of 48 consecutive hours.
(B) Where parking limits of less than 48 consecutive hours or other parking restrictions are deemed advisable, the Chief of Police shall recommend to the Council the erection of clearly visible signs which shall specify the restriction imposed.
(C) It is unlawful for any person to park, stop or stand a vehicle in disobedience of the signs posted in accordance with this chapter.
(D) It is unlawful for any person to park, stop or stand any commercial trailer in any residential area or on any street in a residential area, or on any vacant lot or parcel abutting a residential area, except:
(1) The vehicles posted with a valid town issued commercial trailer parking permit;
(2) During the process of loading or unloading the vehicle; and/or
(3) During the time the vehicle is used to construct or perform routine or emergency maintenance to utilities, transportation facilities or private property.
