For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
COMMERCIAL TRAILER. Any trailer carrying a commercial license tag.
COMMERCIAL TRAILER PARKING PERMIT. A permit issued by the Town Clerk for parking a commercial trailer in a residential area. The permits are issued for four months at a time, and are renewed automatically upon payment of the required permit fee, but may only be issued where all property owners within 300 feet of the parking location have agreed to the issuance of the permit; and may not be issued for:
(1) Trailers used to transport livestock;
(2) Trailers with refrigerators that run between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.; or
(3) Trailers carrying any substance or load otherwise prohibited by federal, state, county or local law to be parked in a residential area.
RESIDENTIAL AREA. Any territory, which is zoned for residential uses according to the zoning ordinance of the town, including the full width of any lot or street abutting the territory.
STREET. Any public right-of-way in the town.
