It is unlawful for any person to wilfully and maliciously deface, break, destroy or remove a tomb, monument or gravestone erected for a dead person, or a memento, memorial, ornamental plant, tree or shrub placed at the sepulcher of a human being, or to mark, deface, injure, destroy or remove a fence, post, rail or wall of the cemetery.
